Company Background
With sixteen years of combined experience in the information technology industry, Datastream co-founders Ara Adjamian and Louie Sadd provide knowledgeable business systems consulting, enterprise resource planning, electronic document management implementation, and managed IT services.
Overview
- Partnering with Speakeasy
Inspired by Speakeasy's extraordinary Seattle-based customer support and reliable connectivity services, Datastream became a Speakeasy Partner five years ago. "It was a really good partnership right off the bat," says Adjamian "We put our customers first and Speakeasy does the same; their overall culture is very much in line with ours." After selling Speakeasy T1 and DSL service for over three years, Datastream responded to a growing customer demand and made the decision to provide Speakeasy Hosted Voice services. - Value to Consultants
When they decided to add voice to their service portfolio, Datastream's co-founders gained the knowledge they needed from Speakeasy's free VoIP Partner Certification Training. "After the training we were well-versed in the offering, having learned how to consult, implement, train and support the solution," Sadd recalls.
Datastream's bottom line benefits as well. "The commissions we receive from Speakeasy are very generous," says Adjamian. "Our revenues from telecom sales have grown tremendously in the past year. We attribute that, in great part, to our partnership with Speakeasy."
- Value to Clients
Because Speakeasy Hosted Voice doesn't require a server or other major equipment on-site, start-up costs are much lower than with a traditional PBX or IP-PBX system. Datastream clients also appreciate the ability to recover quickly from unexpected interruptions. "In a disaster scenario, phones can be set up in another location, and the system can be back up and running in no time," says Sadd.
One Datastream customer was paying close to $3,000 per month with their previous telecom provider. With a Speakeasy T1 and Hosted Voice solution, Datastream lowered the client's monthly bill by more than 60%.
