Speakeasy Introduces 3x3 Mbps Business Ethernet Service, Providing Twice the Bandwidth of a T1 at the Same Price
SEATTLE, December 9, 2008—Speakeasy (www.speakeasy.net), a Best Buy company (NYSE:BBY), announced promotional cost reductions on its existing Business Ethernet broadband services, and launched today a new Business Ethernet service providing twice the speed of a T1 connection for the same cost. Speakeasy is lowering its 10x10 Mbps symmetrical bandwidth Business Ethernet service from $1,295 per month to $995, and its 5x5 Mbps service from $849 to $720. Speakeasy also introduced today a 3x3 Mbps Business Ethernet service for $380 per month - the same price as a T1, with double the bandwidth. These prices are available until January 31, 2009.
Business Ethernet broadband provides small businesses with affordable, higher bandwidth connectivity, with faster speeds than a T1 connection at a lower price per megabit, and significantly lower costs than a fractional DS3.
